Huntington Beach Central Park covers over 350 acres of lakes, ponds, open grass fields, and natural forests. It is the largest city-owned park in Orange County. Central Park offers incredible year round activities for Huntington Beach residents and visitors, these include picnicking, bird-watch, equestrian activities, disc golf, and biking.

In the summer time, the park hosts a car show that attracts many, and in the Fall and Spring it conducts a cross country racing event and an equestrian jumper show. Park entrances are at Ellis, Talbert, Slater, Gothard, Goldenwest and Edwards.

Central Park also boasts the largest children’s library west of the Mississippi, an adventure playground, amphitheater, disc golf course, dog park, nature center, restaurants, and a sports complex.
